DESCRIPTION
Balloon therapy for obesity grades I and II is a very good alternative for patients before an operation (bypass or sleeve gastrectomy). However, the therapy is only used for obesity grade III. billed via the GKV.

Location analysis
The location analysis showed that the development of the story with the health insurance companies had not yet been completed. A clear, traceable patient path must be developed
The story quickly and clearly showed that a good reduction in weight can be achieved by inserting a stomach balloon. The long-term follow-up can convince health insurance companies to recognize a sustainable concept
